BlueCosmo offers a range of Iridium prepaid satellite phone plans for both short-term and long-term needs.

These flexible, pay-as-you-go plans are ideal for seasonal travelers, remote workers, and anyone who needs reliable satellite communication without a monthly commitment.

What Is an Iridium Prepaid Plan?

An Iridium prepaid SIM card provides access to satellite service using a fixed amount of airtime that is valid for a set period.

• You purchase a fixed amount of airtime to use within a defined expiry period.

• No contract or monthly fee. You only pay for what you need.

• No activation fees. You can activate your SIM when you are ready.

• You must monitor your balance and expiry. Auto-refill can be managed in My Account.

• You can refill your prepaid card at any time.

• Call records are not available for prepaid services.

• Compatible with Iridium 9555, 9575, and 9505A devices.

Iridium Prepaid Options

Iridium offers both global and regional prepaid plans:

• Global prepaid SIM cards allow you to connect anywhere on the Iridium network with a clear view of the sky.

• Regional prepaid SIM cards offer the same features but only work within a specific geographic region.

Iridium Global Prepaid

* The 300-minute plan does not allow airtime rollover or extension.

Iridium GO! Global Prepaid

* GO! Data uses half a voice minute. For example, 400 data units = 200 voice minutes.

Iridium Regional Prepaid

* Works within the specified region and up to 12 nautical miles offshore.

Before Activation

• Your SIM card is not activated when shipped to prevent airtime expiration during delivery.

• You can activate your SIM at any time through your online account.

• You have 12 months from the purchase date to activate your SIM.

After Activation

• Insert the SIM card into your Iridium device.

• Take the device outside, power it on, and allow it to register with the network.

• Once connected, you can make and receive calls.
