Refill Prepaid SIM card

Your BlueCosmo online account lists all active prepaid SIM cards associated with your account under the Manage Refills section.

Important Information About Prepaid SIM Cards

• Minutes expire at 12:00 AM (midnight) UTC on the listed expiry date
• New prepaid SIM cards must be activated before they appear in Manage Prepaid Refills. See How to Activate Your SIM Card 
• Prepaid SIM cards purchased through our website will appear in the Activate Cards section if they have not yet been activated
• Prepaid SIM cards more than 270 days past expiry are permanently deactivated and removed from your account

If your SIM card is deactivated, you will need to purchase a new prepaid SIM card.

How to Refill Your Prepaid SIM Card

1. Go to My Account and sign in
2. Open Manage Refills from the left menu
3. Select the prepaid SIM card you want to refill
4. Click Refill

You can then choose from the available refill options.

Types of Prepaid Refill Options

• One-time refill: Adds airtime once. You can refill again when needed
• Auto-refill: Automatically refills when your balance reaches 10 minutes or your expiry date is within 3 days
• Disable auto-refill: Turns off a previously enabled auto-refill setting

Auto-refill requires a valid credit card on file to process successfully.

How Prepaid Refill Expiry and Balances Work

When you apply a refill, your airtime balance and expiry date are updated based on the selected product.

• Most prepaid SIM cards allow unused minutes to carry forward if you refill before expiry
• Iridium 300-minute prepaid cards do not support carry-forward
• Iridium Global prepaid cards (except 300-minute plans) extend from your current expiry date
• Iridium Regional prepaid cards calculate a new expiry date from the refill date

What Is the Difference Between a Refill and an Extension

A refill adds airtime minutes and extends the expiry date based on the selected product.

An extension only extends the expiry date of your existing airtime without adding additional minutes.
