Your Iridium 9555 provides both LED status indicators and on-screen icons to help you quickly understand the phone's current status, even when the display is difficult to read.

Status Indicator (LED Light at the Top of the Phone)
The LED indicator provides a quick visual reference of the phone’s current state:
| Indicator Pattern | Description |
|
Alternating red and green |
A call is in progress. This includes dialing, ringing, or connected calls. |

Flashing green |
The phone is idle, network is available, and the SIM card is working correctly. |
|
Flashing yellow |
There is a SIM issue. The card may be locked, missing, or invalid. |
|
Flashing red |
The phone is not connected to the Iridium network. |
Main Screen Indicators
Your Iridium 9555 display also includes on-screen icons that indicate signal strength, battery level, call status, and other key information.
