Currently, we are only able to support data connections on the Iridium GO! and the included software.
Inmarsat - Isatphone 2.0 or 2.1
Inmarsat has confirmed that as of January 11th, 2022, any apps using Short Access Code 28 will no longer work on IsatPhones. XGate (now owned by Pivotel) has also confirmed that Inmarsat data services for Isatphones have reached EOL (end of life).
Iridium 9575 (Extreme) and 9555
Iridium is depreciating the direct connection method for data in satellite phones. This is due to changes in the way Windows and other systems provide external data connections.
Most third-party vendors now use a USB-based router to create a connection to a computer, tablet or phone that run compression-based software such as UUplus.
Some companies still support a USB connected satellite phone, but many are not able to get drivers for these devices to be compatible with modern operating systems.
The drivers for handset USB data connections hosted on Iridium's website (https://www.iridium.com/idr-file/306200) should still be compatible with some modern Windows operating systems. The modem menus may have changed, but the underlying functionality should still exist in some versions of Windows.
