How to Reactivate Postpaid (Monthly) Services

If you previously used a postpaid SIM card and later canceled the service, you may be able to reactivate the same SIM card from your BlueCosmo account instead of ordering a new one.

This article explains which postpaid SIM cards can be reactivated, how reactivation works, and when to contact support for help.

Understand Postpaid SIM Reactivation Rules

The following postpaid SIM cards can be reactivated:

• Iridium postpaid SIM cards: Can be reactivated unlimited times at no cost
• Iridium GO! exec SIM cards: Can be reactivated unlimited times at no cost
• Inmarsat postpaid SIM cards: Can be reactivated unlimited times, but a $40 activation fee applies each time

Know What to Expect During Postpaid SIM Reactivation

Before you reactivate a postpaid SIM card, keep the following in mind:

• A new satellite phone number may be assigned during reactivation
• If your SIM card does not appear under Historical Services, it may still be eligible for reactivation
• Once reactivation is complete, the SIM card will move to the Active Services tab under Service Plans
• Reactivation usually takes a few minutes, but in some cases it may take up to 3 business days

Reactivate a Postpaid SIM Card from Your BlueCosmo Account

1. Log in to your account at BlueCosmo.ca
2. From the Account Dashboard, click Service Plans
3. Click the Historical Services tab to view previously canceled SIM cards
4. Find the SIM card number you want to reactivate and click Reactivate
5. Follow the prompts to choose your Monthly Plan and any optional extras
6. Click Add to Cart
7. Open your Cart and complete the standard checkout process

Check the Status of a Reactivated Postpaid SIM Card

After you submit the reactivation request, the SIM card will move to the Active Services tab.

The service status may show:

• Processing while the reactivation is being completed
• Active once the SIM card is ready to use

If the SIM card still shows Processing after 3 business days, please contact Customer Support.
