We provide direct support for data connections on the Iridium GO! and Iridium GO! Exec. Please contact our support team for assistance setting up your connection.
Inmarsat IsatPhone 2.0 and 2.1
Data services for Inmarsat IsatPhone devices have reached end of life (EOL) and are no longer available.
As of January 11, 2022, apps using Short Access Code 28 no longer work on IsatPhone devices.
XGate (now owned by Pivotel) has confirmed that Inmarsat data services for IsatPhones are permanently discontinued.
No alternative data solution is available for this device.
Iridium 9575 (Extreme) and 9555
Direct data connections for these devices are being deprecated by Iridium due to changes in the way modern operating systems handle external data connections. Two options may be available depending on your setup:
USB-based router: Most third-party vendors now use a USB-based router to create a connection to a computer, tablet, or phone running compression-based software such as UUplus.
USB direct connection: Some vendors still support a USB-connected satellite phone. Driver compatibility with modern operating systems varies. Iridium hosts drivers at iridium.com that may be compatible with some versions of Windows. Note: modem menus may differ from older versions, but the underlying functionality may still be available in some versions of Windows.
