Iridium Network Test Call
If you are using an Iridium handset with active service, you can place a test call free of charge.
Testing your device before travel is recommended to ensure your handset is fully operational when you need it.
Take your device outside.
Extend the antenna and ensure you have a clear line of sight to the sky, away from large obstructions or heavy canopy.
Press and hold the power button to turn on the handset. After booting, the phone should display "Searching for Iridium...".
Wait for the handset to display "Registered". A green indicator light will confirm signal.
