It is important to distinguish between a Phone Lock and a SIM Lock to determine the process and default codes used. Performing too many incorrect attempts can lock the SIM/device. Please be extra vigilant.

If the PIN1/PIN2 code is entered incorrectly three times, the SIM card can only be unlocked using the PUK1/PUK2 code. It will display "Pin Blocked." Request the correct PUK information from our Support Team. When the PIN1 number has been entered incorrectly three times in a row, the phone automatically blocks the PIN. To unblock the pin, enter the PUK1 code for the phone by entering **05* from the main screen. The PUK codes will come with your new SIM, or please contact us at www.bluecosmo.ca/contact-us.
When the PIN2 number has been entered incorrectly three times in a row, the phone automatically blocks the PIN. To unblock the PIN2, enter the PUK2 code for the phone by entering **052* from the main screen. If PUK1 has been burned out from too many incorrect attempts, the SIM card will need replacement. The PUK2 code is only used for enabling and disabling restricted dialing on a phone. Contact www.bluecosmo.ca/contact-us to replace the SIM card. |
