Iridium 9555 - How to Perform Factory Reset

If you’re experiencing issues with your Iridium 9555, performing a factory reset may help resolve the problem. This will return the device settings to their original default configuration.

Note: A factory reset will not delete personal data, such as contacts or call logs, but any custom settings will need to be reconfigured.

Steps to Perform a Factory Reset

1. From the main screen, press the left soft key to open the Menu.
2. Scroll to Setup, then press the left soft key to select it.
3. Scroll to Reset to Defaults, then press the left soft key to select.
4. When prompted with “Reset all phone settings?”, press:
   • Yes (left soft key) to proceed
   • No (right soft key) to cancel
5. The screen will confirm with the message: “Phone settings reset.”
