IMPORTANT NOTE: Due to changes to Facebook's security protocol, Garmin is no longer able to post to user's walls. Effective July 1, 2024, the ability to post to Facebook® pages and X (formerly known as Twitter®) from inReach devices will no longer be available. Users will still be able to post updates to MapShare™ pages from inReach devices, and you can share your MapShare link on social media using a computer or mobile device with internet access.
inReach users may post to their Facebook (pages accounts only) or Twitter wall from their inReach device or Earthmate app. Use the steps below to enable social media on the Explore portal:
1. Login to https://explore.garmin.com/
2. Click on the Social tab
3. Use the social media links at the bottom of the page to link the social media accounts
4. Sync the device
