On Tuesday December 9th between 1PM EST (10AM PST) and 4PM EST (1PM PST), Inmarsat is planning to perform maintenance on the SMS gateway.
During this time, customers may notice a degradation in service, which may result in small delays of up to an hour in sending SMS over BGAN, IsatPhone Pro, and IsatPhone 2. Messages queued before the outage may take 12 hours to be delivered when the recipient phone/terminal is powered on.
Voice and data services will be unaffected during this time.
