The GeoPro Safety Wearable provides users with the ability to perform a check-in, start a check-in session, and stop a check-in session. When a check-in is required, whether it be manually requested by overseeing personnel from the portal or automatically generated based on a check-in interval, the device will announce a check is required and continuously provide a reminder until a check-in is performed.
The GeoPro Safety Wearable is fully compatible with both Monitor Me and Check-In Schedule features of GeoPro. Check-in related features can also be disabled should these feature not be required and you would like to have them removed from the pendant. Please contact Technical Support for further assistance on this.
Follow the instructions below on how to start and stop check-in sessions using the GeoPro Safety Wearable.
To start a check-in session:
1. Tap the button 3 times. The LED will flash green three times and the device will announce, "Check-In Session Started".
2. Your monitoring interval or check-in schedule (depending on your configuration) will then commence.
At the required check-in time, the device will receive a reminder and announce, “Please check-in now”, and flash green followed by playing an audible tone repeatedly for 2.5 minutes. It will then announce “Please check-in now” a second time and continue the audible tone for the next 2.5 minutes. Once 5 minutes has elapsed, the device will continue to flash green indicating a check-in is required until one is performed.
To stop a check-in session:
1. Tap the button 4 times. The LED will flash green four times and the device will announce, "Check-In Session Ended".
2. Your monitoring interval or check-in schedule (depending on your configuration) will be stopped and reminders will no longer be sent..
Note: After triggering any of the device features using the appropriate button taps, please give the device a second to acknowledge the key sequence. This is by design to prevent the device from triggering the incorrect feature as you progress through the button taps.
