Messages can be sent and received using the GeoPro Mobile App. Messages need to be initiated from the GeoPro Web App by an Administrator or Monitor for the very first time in order to establish and open a conversation thread with the end user. When a new message is received in the GeoPro Mobile App, a new message indicator will appear, indicating the number of new unread messages. The user of the GeoPro Mobile App can view the message and send a response back to the sender, and carry on a conversation as necessary.
This article explains how to send and receive a message using the GeoPro Mobile App.
1. From the home screen, press the Messages button and the messages menu will be displayed.
Note: If an Administrator or Monitor has not initiated a conversation, the messages list will display No messages yet.
2. When a new message is received, you'll receive a notification on your smartphone as well as in the GeoPro Mobile App.
3. Select the new message from the conversation list and the message details will appear.
4. Type in a response at the bottom of the screen and press Send when finished. Your message will be sent and delivered back to the sender.
