SOS is a emergency alerting feature that can be used to declare an emergency from the GeoPro Mobile App in order to request emergency assistance. When an emergency is declared the mobile app will automatically alert the GeoPro Web App displaying the emergency on the dashboard, along with your position on the map and will notify your predefined escalation contacts of the emergency. The GeoPro Web App and your escalation contacts will continue to receive regular position updates until the emergency has been cancelled or resolved. If you've selected to have your emergencies monitored by GEOS, they will also receive the emergency notification and will immediately reach out to you to assess the situation, confirm your safety and deploy resources as necessary.

Declaring an SOS
1. From the home screen, press and hold the SOS button until the indicator has completely circled around the SOS button.
2. Once an SOS has been declared, a banner will be displayed at the top of the screen indicating SOS mode is active and the SOS button will begin flashing.
Note: A message indicating you've declared an emergency along with frequent position reports will be continuously sent until the emergency has been cancelled or resolved.
Cancelling an SOS
1. From the home screen, press the SOS button and confirmation prompt will appear asking if you would like to cancel the emergency.
Press Yes to proceed with cancelling the emergency
Press No to decline and continue in SOS mode.
2. Once SOS mode has been successfully cancelled, the mobile app will return back to it's normal state of operation.
