SOS is a emergency alerting feature that can be used to declare an emergency from the GeoPro Mobile App in order to request emergency assistance. When an emergency is declared the mobile app will automatically alert the GeoPro Web App displaying the emergency on the dashboard, the position of the user on the map and will notify your predefined escalation contacts of the emergency. The GeoPro Web App and your escalation contacts will continue to receive position updates until the emergency has been cancelled or resolved. If you've selected to have your emergencies monitored by GEOS, they will also receive the emergency notification and will immediately reach out to the user to assess the situation, confirm their safety and deploy resources as necessary.

This article explains how to configure the SOS settings using the GeoPro Mobile App.
1. Navigate to Settings and select SOS.
2. You will be presented with options to set an SOS interval and toggle vibration. Using the slider, select the desired interval you wish to have SOS updates with position reports sent. Use the toggle to enable vibration which provides vibration feedback when an SOS has been declared.
Note: Vibration feedback is helpful should an emergency be declared remotely on your device by a web portal user such as the administrator or monitor, when triggered by the Man Down feature, or to provide confirmation of a successful declaration.
