The GeoPro Safety Wearable contains an internal rechargeable battery capable of 72 hours of standby time, with Fall Detection disabled and Tracking interval set to every 4 hours. The device can be charged using the included desktop charger or directly via Mirco-USB using the provided cable, AC wall adapter and DC car charger. Battery charge takes 2-3 hours to complete. The GeoPro Safety Wearable also provides visual and audible indicators of battery and cellular signal strength. The device will notify you when the battery or cellular signal strength is low through use of its loud speaker and on-board LED. Battery and cellular signal strength are included with all transmissions from the device. Low battery notifications are announced at 40%, 20% and 5%, and reported to the GeoPro Web App at 20% and 5%.
Follow the instructions below on how to check the battery level and cellular signal strength using the GeoPro Safety Wearable.
1. Tap the button 5 times. The LED will flash blue five times and the pendant will announce, "Battery level is 100%, cellular signal is very good, Wi-Fi is connected, check-in is disabled" (or similar), thus providing a complete status update of the device.
Note: After triggering any of the device features using the appropriate button taps, please give the device a second to acknowledge the key sequence. This is by design to prevent the pendant from triggering the incorrect feature as you progress through the button taps.
