The inReach SE+ / inReach Explorer+ can send text messages via the Iridium satellite network when used on its own or when paired to an Android or iOS device using the Earthmate app.
This article explains how to send a message from the inReach+ device.
1. Select Messages and press 
.
2. Select New Message and press .
3. Select an option:
Select To: to enter new recipients manually.
Select 
to select recipients from your contacts list.
4. Select an option:
Select Message: to compose a new message manually.
Select 
to select a quick text message.
5. When finished, select Send Message and press
