Before taking your inReach with you on a trip, you should test the device outdoors with a clear view of the sky to ensure your satellite subscription is active and your device is working properly.
This article explains how to test your inReach.
1. Scroll to Test on the screen of your device and press Checkmark button.
2. Select Test and press the Checkmark button to start the test.
3. Your inReach will send and receive a test message. Please give it a few minutes to complete the test.
4. Test Successful will be displayed when finished.
5. Select Done and press the Checkmark button.
6. Your inReach is now ready for use.
