The Compass & Altimeter Settings menu allows you to calibrate the built-in sensors on your inReach device.
Your inReach Explorer+ device was calibrated at the factory, and the altimeter uses automatic calibration by default.
To calibrate your Compass & Altimeter:
1. Select Settings and press 
2. Select Compass & Altimeter and press
3. Select an option from the list and press
Calibrate Compass
Calibrates the compass behaviour to ensure accuracy.
Auto Calibrate Altimeter
Enabled by default, the Barometric Altimeter uses automatic calibration. This can be disabled to calibrate the Barometric Alimeter manually.
Calibrate Altimeter
Manually calibrate the Barometric Altimeter using methods such as Known Elevation, Known Pressure, and GPS Elevation.
