The Sound Settings menu on your inReach allows you set the volume and sounds played for when messages are sent and received as well as when your device is powered off.
To change your Sound Settings:
1. Select Settings and press 
2. Select Messages and press
3. Select an option from the list and press
Mute All
Mutes all device tones.
Volume
Sets the device volume level.
Message Received
Sets the tone that sounds when you receive a message.
Message Sent
Sets the tone that sounds when the you send a message.
Critical Alert
Sets the tone that sounds when the device announces a critical alert.
Power Off
Sets the tone that sounds when you turn off the device.
