How to Email an Isatphone (Inmarsat Satellite Phone)

You can send a text message to an Inmarsat IsatPhone using Inmarsat’s Email-to-Text service. This service delivers your email as an SMS message to the satellite phone.

Important Information

• Messages must contain plain text only.

• Do not include images, attachments, HTML formatting, or email signatures.

• Leave the subject line blank.

How to Send an Email to an IsatPhone

1. Open your preferred email client (for example, Outlook or Gmail).

2. In the To field, enter the IsatPhone number followed by @message.inmarsat.com.

   • Format: 870XXXXXXXXX@message.inmarsat.com

   • Example: 870776123456@message.inmarsat.com

3. In the body of the email, type your message.

   • Keep the message under 160 characters (standard SMS length).

4. Click Send. The message will be delivered to the IsatPhone as a text message.

Limitations

• Each IsatPhone number can receive up to 5 email-to-text messages per day.

• A maximum of 30 messages per month can be received using this service.
