IMPORTANT: We recommend familiarizing with and testing your rental phone once received, prior to heading off grid.
Your Iridium satellite phone comes ready to go with active service and two fully charged batteries. You do not need to purchase or activate a SIM card separately. Please do not remove the SIM card from the phone (unless troubleshooting), as it's part of the rental package and must be returned with the device, along with all accessories within the rental package.

Rental Charges and Fees
- Outgoing call minutes and SMS are pay per use, unless a 'minute package' was purchased at checkout. Full burn rates are available on the rental product pages. Usage charges will appear on your final invoice, which is available once the rental return is received and processed back in our warehouse.
- Minute packages will utilize package minutes first, then will use standard burn rates thereafter. Rental phones do not 'run out' of minutes.
- Charges begin from your inputted 'start date'. This start date must be a business day/non-holiday. You might receive your rental early, as our Production team ensures rentals are shipped slightly early vs too late. You do not pay for any extra days received early. We do not ship on weekends or holidays.
- Signature upon delivery is a requirement to receive the rental order.
- Shipping has a fixed rate fee which includes a prepaid Return Waybill.
- Charges end when the Return Waybill is scanned at the courier drop-off office. You do not pay for the rental return transit time.
- Early returns are fully pro-rate credited by day to your account. NOTE: For monthly rentals, pro-ration only applies after the first full month.
- Late returns: Your rental will continue to charge at the standard rental-plan rates until returned.
- Customers are responsible for any damage or lost items, including the device, all accessories and the SIM card included in the rental kit. As a precaution, loss and damage insurance can be purchased during checkout.
